Speeding up scroll speed in PDFs

The scroll rate through PDFs in current versions of Adobe Acrobat are often painfully slow. It turns our there's an easy fix:

Click on the main menu "View", chose "Page Display" near the top, and select "Single Page Continuous."

You can also do various things to decrease the resolution of the displayed PDF, but you end up with very ugly-looking images and graphs.
